Mazaya Real Estate Development Company, in cooperation with the Ministry Labour, concluded its summer training program for 2022, which included a number of secondary and university students. The program aimed to familiarize the trainees with the nature of the company’s work, its vision and mission, and to provide them with management skills and experiences that will help them in their future careers.
Human Resources Director, Dalal Yaqoob, said that the summer training program for Qatari students supervised by the Human Resources Department, during which the trainees moved between all the company’s departments to train and familiarize them with the work and tasks of each department, and provide them with various administrative and technical skills. The Human Resources Department also followed up on the students, monitored their training and met with them weekly so that all trainees share the benefits that they gained from this experience and what they have learned during the week.
Ms. Dalal also confirmed: “Based on the social responsibility towards members of society, the senior management of Mazaya Company is keen to provide an integrated summer program that helps students acquire the practical skills and abilities that will benefit them after completing their academic studies and joining the field of work in various sectors of the state.
At the end of the training period, the company held a ceremony to honor the students for their efforts and commitment to the program plan. During the ceremony, the students were also encouraged to continue their efforts in developing their scientific capabilities and acquiring practical skills, thus benefiting their country with progress and advancement.
In a speech delivered by one of the trainees, Ali Al-Ajmi, during the honoring ceremony, the latter said: “During the training period, I became acquainted with work ethics and acquired the skill and accuracy in doing business.”
Regarding her experience during the training period, the trainee, Haya Al-Malki, said: “During my training period at Mazaya Company, I acquired the practical experience that I will need when I join the labor market. I was also able to learn about work procedures in the various departments of the company.”
Trainee Haya Al-Balam commented: “It was an important experience to prepare us to get acquainted with the administrative work environment that will help us building our future plans after graduation, God willing.”
Shahd Al-Badr, a trainee, said: “Working as one team and exchanging opinions to achieve a specific goal was the biggest benefit to me during the training period.”.
