In line with its belief in the positive role of the private sector in supporting the Qatari community and its devotion to support children’s and women’s protection programmes, Mazaya Real Estate Development Company (Q.S.C.) has sponsored the recently launched Ramadan campaign for the Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection.
Mazaya also aims through this initiative to spread community awareness of women’s and children’s issues, and of the national efforts seeking to push the human development process forward.
The Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection was established by HH Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned, wife of HH the Emir of Qatar. The foundation aims to provide an integrated system for the protection of women and children from all kinds of abuse and violence in order to achieve social security in the state of Qatar, and to contribute to charity and public welfare work.
Mazaya’s decision to support this campaign is consistent with its leading role in supporting the community, and is aimed at raising public awareness of the rights of women and children from a religious and human perspective in accordance with Islamic Sharia’a principles.
Commenting on the occasion, a spokesman for Mazaya said, “As a Sharia-compliant company, our contribution to support this campaign is part of our commitment to the communities in which we operate”.
“As part of our objectives and mission, Mazaya is striving to offer further support to the parties active in serving the Qatari community. Building communities is not a matter of providing property units and technologies, but rather of reinforcing joint efforts by public and private institutions, alike, for the interest of all members of society,” he added.
